The blood collection mobile point again in DRUTEX

Last Friday on 8 March, DRUTEX, with the John Paul 2nd Regional  Blood Donation and Hemotherapy Center in Słupsk, yet again organized an action of honorary blood donation at the company premises. Ca. 50 employees took part in it, donating altogether over 20 liters of blood. The HBD team in the Bytów company amounts to a few hundred staff. 

Participating in the noble action of promoting HBD DRUTEX yet again enabled its employees to donate blood on spot, in the mobile point. During the six actions, initiated last year, the staff of the Bytów company have donated a total of almost 100 liters of blood. The next action with the mobile point is planned for 12 April and 24 May. 

- The popularity of the action among our staff exceeded our wildest expectations. Therefore, we decided to continue it. DRUTEX for many years has been involved in CSR projects, but this noble effort was taken directly by our employees, contributing to saving the health and lives of those in need. We are deeply grateful for that - said Adam Leik, HR director in DRUTEX.

The mobile point during its visits starts operations at 10, and the last people are signed up for 3:30 pm. All the staff who decide to donate blood receive vouchers from the company. 

- Our cooperation with the Regional  Blood Donation and Hemotherapy Center in Słupsk started a few years ago, but before, it came down to supporting promotion actions. Now it has another dimension. The mobile point is located during the action in Drutex SA at the parking lot near the production hall nr 17 in Leborska street in Bytów.
