Drutex is building a modern warehouse

DRUTEX SA continues the impressive investment process. Having launched in September the development of the office building and after completing one of the most cutting-edge powder paint shops in the world, it started the construction of a warehouse

The investment, conducted by Drutex, includes a high-storage warehouse with total cubage of almost 50 000 m3 with technical and welfare facilities as well as a battery of outdoor silos and accompanying infrastructure. The building will be equipped with a smart, automatic storage system based on pallet racks, which will significantly optimize the use of warehouse space, ensuring reliability and speed of all processes.

The investment constitutes another stage in the company development. We are acquiring new clients, we are increasing production, therefore, it is necessary to expand the warehouse space,  also for storing components used in the production of i.a. our PVC profiles. It is highly important in the context of ensuring continuity of production and supply chain – says Leszek Gierszewski, the president and founder of DRUTEX.

The modern warehouse is another big investment this year at the Bytów company executed by Grupa Kapitałową PEKABEX.

- We are delighted to contribute to DRUTEX development. The high-storage warehouse is another project from the Investor, after we have established cooperation in constructing the modern office building in Bytów – said Tomasz Seremet, a member of the Management Board at Pekabex BET SA.

Apart from these investments, in August DRUTEX informed about launching one of the most cutting-edge powder paint shops in the world. The innovative technology allows to there even 100 km of aluminum profiles a day. Before, in July 2020, DRUTEX was the first company to have installed in the factory the innovative STRATO machines that allow to expand the already impressive color range of PVC window and door woodwork.

Just in the first ten months of this year the Bytów tycoon invested over 72 million PLN. The company has also significantly increased the workforce, despite the global crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. In response to the growing demand for the manufactured window and door woodwork, the company hires hundreds of new staff and today it employs almost 4000 people in Bytów with 17 000 population.
