Iglo Expert – a new system in the Drutex range

Alongside energy efficiency, durability and technical performance, the appearance of windows and doors, large glazed areas and customisation options are becoming increasingly important. Drutex’s extensive experience in manufacturing its own profiles, conversations with customers and close observation of market trends helped define two key principles behind the development of Iglo Expert: modern design and durability.

Together with our R&D department, we have developed a system that meets current market needs while remaining functional and reliable. Our aim was to create a solution that combines high performance with versatility and can be successfully offered in markets with different requirements and characteristics. Iglo Expert complements our portfolio, giving partners and customers even greater freedom of choice. It also enables us to respond flexibly to changing market needs and consistently develop our range, says Kamil Gierszewski, Sales Director at Drutex SA.

More light and comfort

The slim construction of Iglo Expert allows for larger glazed areas, bringing more natural light indoors. Its modern design is supported by advanced engineering: a six-chamber frame with an installation depth of 70 mm, a seven-chamber sash with a depth of 77 mm, and three seals in a centre-seal arrangement (MD). These features ensure a high level of airtightness and user comfort. The system also delivers excellent thermal insulation: the frame’s thermal transmittance coefficient Uf is 1.0 W/(m²K), while the Uw value for the reference window is 0.73 W/(m²K).

The sash construction accommodates glazing units up to 54 mm thick, including energy-efficient triple glazing and options with safety and burglar-resistant glass. Depending on the configuration, the sound reduction index Rw ranges from 36 to 43 dB.

A maximum sash weight of 150 kg allows for large, stable glazed units. An extensive range of accessories also makes it possible to tailor the appearance and functionality of windows and doors to individual needs.

One system, many applications

With its extensive configuration options, Iglo Expert is suitable for modern, minimalist projects featuring large glazed areas, as well as larger structures and the renovation of existing buildings. The system will also be available for tilt-and-slide patio doors (PSK) and external doors.

Different frame variants, renovation and adaptation solutions, and compatibility with additional profiles used in existing Drutex systems provide extensive design and installation options. They also allow windows and doors to be adapted to the specific requirements of different markets. High-quality raw materials, hardware from renowned manufacturers and PVC-P seals contribute to the durability of the construction.

The introduction of Iglo Expert expands Drutex’s comprehensive range, giving trade partners, individual customers and developers even greater freedom to choose solutions tailored to their projects.
