DRUTEX supports the best


DRUTEX S.A., one of the leaders in the window and door woodwork market in Europe, will be one of the broadcast partners of the Football World Cup, which officially began in Qatar on 20 November. This is not the first time the company has promoted itself through football. 

DRUTEX promotional spots will appear before and after the matches, as well as before and after the match studio discussions. The first ones will appear during the group matches (from 26 November), while the next ones will be broadcast until 18 December, i.e. up to and including the final, on TVP1, TVP Sport and TVP 4K.

"DRUTEX has always been interested in sport and football, and there is no greater celebration for a football fan than the World Cup. Millions of viewers will sit in front of their TV sets to follow the performances of the world's best teams. This is a great opportunity for us to promote the company," says Gabriela Gusztyn-Popławska, PR Director at DRUTEX.

Football is a global sport, popular on all continents. DRUTEX, in turn, is a global brand, dynamically developing sales not only in Europe, but also in the United States, Canada or Mexico. Our windows and doors are also exported to countries in Africa, the Middle East, South America and as far afield as Australia and New Zealand. Exports now account for more than 80 per cent of production.

DRUTEX invests in establishing brand strength and relevance across the globe. "We already have a plan for the next activities that will show DRUTEX to the whole world. It will certainly be a big surprise. However, it is too early for details, we will inform about them in due time," says Kamila Newlin-Łukowicz, Vice-President of DRUTEX. 

The most recognisable marketing campaign to date in the company's 37-year history has been football-related. In 2014, DRUTEX partnered with three football icons: Philipp Lahm, Andrea Pirlo and Jakub Błaszczykowski. At the time, these were world-class players. The collaboration lasted more than two years. The activities within the "Champions' Choice" campaign were targeted at the markets that are very important for DRUTEX, namely the Italian and German ones. They were also conducted on the Polish market, of course.

"The results were sensational and the idea proved to be the proverbial bull's eye. Not only did sales increase, but also - and this was very important for us - brand recognition, not only in Europe, but also worldwide. We can still see the effects of that campaign to this day, we have also retained valuable contacts. This collaboration has also shown us the power and importance of football in the modern world, and of its stars in particular," says Gabriela Gusztyn-Popławska, PR Director at DRUTEX. 

DRUTEX was also involved in national football. The company was a sponsor of Bytovia Bytów for more than a dozen years, from 2003 to 2018, leading that club from the regional league to eighth place in the First League, a division just below the Ekstraklasa. DRUTEX Bytovia Bytów has also progressed twice to the quarter-finals of the Polish Cup. 

DRUTEX has also supported other sports for years, including speedway and cycling. In recent years, the company has worked closely with Lang Team, mainly in the organisation of the Tour de Pologne - one of the most important cycling races in the world, part of the UCI World Tour series.
