Drutex in its new headquarters. A modern office building befitting an industry leader
Drutex's new headquarters has a total area of over 8,282 m², of which as much as 4,760 m² is modern, functional office space. For comparison, the previous building offered 2,292 m² of usable space, which is almost half as much. The new office building has 17 conference rooms, an auditorium with a professional sound system, and a relaxation area for employees. There are also two levels of underground parking and three office floors. The building's structure has been designed to allow for further employment growth. The next stage of the investment will begin soon, involving a comprehensive modernization of the existing headquarters, which will create a coherent and modern whole.
"Investments are one of the pillars of our development and systematic brand building. We are delighted with the construction of a modern and fully functional office building, which will increase the comfort of work and allow us to achieve our goals even more effectively. We have created a new office space that is a showcase for the company, enabling its dynamic development and rapid expansion of our team. At the same time, it is worth noting that the new investment coincides with our 40th anniversary. We treat investment activities as a top priority, especially those related to machinery and automation, while the office building is a consequence of our development and desire to increase the comfort of our employees' work," emphasizes Leszek Gierszewski, President of the Management Board of Drutex SA.
Drutex currently employs almost 4,000 people and has a total production area of 118,000 m2. This allows it to produce up to 7,000 windows per day. The company's products are sold through more than 4,000 dealerships worldwide.
The building was designed by the renowned BJK Tomasz Janiszewski (Gdynia) architectural studio, and Marcin Jadach was responsible for the final interior design. The design features a double glass facade, automatic external blinds, a BMS system, and a number of solutions that increase comfort and work efficiency.
"A building has been constructed in Bytów that any European city would be proud of. The end result is functional and expressive, clearly demonstrating the company's position on the market and communicating the brand's values in a changing world. The new building reflects the quality standards of the Drutex brand – it is more than just a workplace. It is a showcase of the company's philosophy, an architectural expression of its commitment to excellence, precision, reliability, and long-term vision, adds Marcin Jadach, interior designer.
The expansion of the office building is the next stage of change and a showcase of the company's development. The new three-story office section with a two-level underground garage forms the main core of the building. Wide stairs lead to the entrance. In the central part, there is a spacious, representative two-level hall with a passage to the auditorium. The office work areas have been significantly enlarged in relation to standard designs. In addition, the internal courtyard with greenery and a relaxation area, as well as common meeting places, are designed to promote integration and ensure a good working atmosphere. The double aluminum facade on the south and west sides with openable windows and a system of automatic horizontal sun blinds with stainless steel finishes maintain a high level of comfort. We have ensured that there are green areas around the office building and car park and, more importantly, trees. The expansion will continue and ultimately the whole will form a compact glass structure, says Tomasz Janiszewski, designer at BJK Architekci.
