Drutex and FC Bayern make an impressive start to their partnership
Friday's event, combined with the inauguration of the Bundesliga season in Munich at the stadium of the current German champions, officially marked the beginning of Drutex's cooperation with FC Bayern. The Bytów-based company, one of Europe's largest manufacturers of windows and doors, became the Official Partner of the Bavarian team, which has won the national championship 34 times and the prestigious Champions League several times. The agreement provides for three years of cooperation.
Before the match, a press conference was held with representatives of the management boards of both partners. Michael Diederich, vice president of FC Bayern, highlighted the achievements and highest standards of the Polish company, as well as the mutual benefits of the partnership.
“We were impressed by what the founder of Drutex has achieved. What do we have in common? Certainly, it is the efficiency and the highest standards that Drutex achieves as a company. We believe that cooperation must be beneficial for both parties,” emphasized Michael Diederich, Vice President of FC Bayern.
Leszek Gierszewski, founder and president of the board of Drutex SA, pointed out that the partnership with the Munich club was a natural choice, as Germany is a very important export market for the Bytów-based company. "We decided to partner with Bayern Munich because we want to and we can. Germany is our main foreign market, followed by Italy and the United States. Thanks to our cooperation with FC Bayern, we want to further build the strength and recognition of our brand around the world. We have been strengthening our position on the market for 40 years and we want to continue to do so consistently," said Leszek Gierszewski, founder and CEO of Drutex SA.
The event was also graced by the presence of Roy Makaay, former star of Bayern Munich. As one of the club's ambassadors, he talked about his career, among other things.
Also on Friday evening, for the first time, Drutex presented itself to the German football audience on LED boards displayed around the pitch. An advertising spot featuring FC Bayern stars was also created as an integral part of the brand's media campaign, ensuring its global reach and reaching millions of fans around the world. The extensive package of marketing services resulting from the agreement with the German club also includes advertising during the match on the referee's board, presence on the club's social media channels, and promotion on FC Bayern's official communication channels. At the same time, Drutex can use the club's materials such as logos, photos, and recordings from matches, as well as the image of the players.
As part of the partnership, Drutex is preparing a number of marketing and sales projects, along with a specially dedicated offer for its business partners. The activities will include not only a campaign, promotions, and new branding, but also changes to the product range prepared in connection with the cooperation with FC Bayern. The new products will be available in stores right after the summer holidays.
